In the beginning of September she will be competing in the U.S. Dance Championships in Orlando, Fla. On Wednesday, Aug. 11, she practiced with her partner Anatoli Gorolevici at Balera School of Ballroom Dance in West Newton.

Besides cars, there are works of automotive art, and fashion from the era. Cars in this video include a 1933 Chrysler CQ, a 1934 Chrysler Airflow, a 1935 Stout Scarab (1 of 5 known in existence), and a 1938 Lincoln Zephyr. What is seen here is a small part of the show and some of the cars are changed from time to time.

On Friday most members of the group met at the Johnny Appleseed rest area in Leominster, MA. From there we made a bee line to the Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Gill, MA. After stomachs were filled it was back into the cars and a drive to base camp, the Kitzhof Inn, in West Dover, Vermont. On Saturday we ZOOM ZOOM ZOOMed to the top of MT. Equinox in Arlington, Vermont.

The day was filled with spirited driving on the back roads of the Green Mountain State followed by a diner at the Kitzof. On Sunday after a farewell breakfast and group photo at the Inn we again hit the twisties making a shopping stop at the Vermont Country Store. Hitting the road again we crossed into New Hampshire a stopped to checkout the historic Gilsum Stone Arch Bridge followed by lunch at the Twelve Pine in Peterborough, NH . After a weekend with about 500 miles of exhilarating driving everyone was pretty much ready to head for home … but we had one last stop … the traditional ice cream stop. Club members pulled into Kimball Farm in Lancaster, MA got a scoop of ice cream for that sugar rush and after handshakes and good byes everyone departed with smiles on their faces after a great weekend adventure.

Quad Bikes is a nonprofit bike shop for the Harvard University community. The shop participates in the LIFT Bike Project which gives bicycles to low income and homless people. Volunteers fix bikes acquired by the program many from the Cambridge Department of Public Works.

Baker School won with a final score of 34-27.
